Corrupt World is a project borne out of depression, which was caused by toby fox's undertale, most specifically the amazing music that made me realize I'd stagnated, which made me fall in a depression from which I only climbed out when I decided I'd get better at making music.

And if I'm going to get better at music I need a goal in mind, and that goal became Corrupt World.

At this point there's only the music, the story, some sound effects and some art, some of which was made from a generator to give an idea of the character designs, and I am focusing more on the music side of things. I know how the game starts, how it flows and how it ends. Once I'm done with the music and sound effects I'll move on to game maker studio and try and learn it or scrounge up money and pay someone to do the coding for me (same for an artist for the sprites).

Corrupt World is going to be a JRPG in the style of the old Phantasy Star games on the sega master system and genesis/megadrive, which had dark sci-fi stories with bittersweet resolutions at best. It will mix gameplay mechanics from the three phantasy star games on the genesis (including III which despite being hated by many people is my favourite in the series). It is also projected to mimick the sega genesis' graphics, warts and all. The level of sound quality in my music would make it sort of a "lost" sega cd rpg.

I decided to post the music I've made for the project here because honestly I get more attention here than on furaffinity for exemple.

I'll be sure to keep any of you following me up to date on the progression when I make any, be it through my music uploads or through news and art posts.

One last note: I am uploading the music I have finalized following the game's progression but there are still many songs I haven't finished/haven't started yet so that explains why in the future there will be songs uploaded that doesn't fit the flow, because I'm constantly adding things.

Had I known the service would have shut down I wouldn't have bothered paying for it. That was a waste of money and now I have to completely restart a song I'd been working on for nearly a year.
